Point of View

Touching the Void is told from the perspective of the two men, Simon Yates and Joe Simpson mainly by their interview clips. The film features actors who portray the climbers making it a enactment  The actors reenact the events that happen to the men in Peru but are explained by personal interviews by the men. Both men did not want to be part of the documentary other than verbally explaining their points. Going back to Peru was a very emotional experience for them and preferred that two actors portray their experiences while they narrate it.
